Your host and guide, the state-licensed Captain Bob Spear, has summered on Lake Wentworth since 1947. He knows many interesting facts and he loves to share his knowledge with your family and friends via an intimate boat cruise unlike any other. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Wentworth Watershed Association to support their efforts to preserve the lake and surrounding watershed.

The Essential Standard Tour
Safely navigate through the pristine waters for a one-hour tour around beautiful islands to discover nature’s bounty and learn about lake history and folklore. Look for loons and eagles, and see a nature preserve and amazing scenery. Be ready for bad puns, interesting stories and a few laughs!
Learn the Lake
Captain Bob will help you understand the navigation buoy system and build your confidence. The lakes are known to be called “boney” because of the many rocks, ledges, and shallow waters that await boat operators. Learn to navigate away from the rocks and shoals and learn to navigate in parts of the lake you might not be familiar with.
History Tour
Learn about the remarkable history of the lakes. Governor John Wentworth, the first camps, folklore, and even rumor about the Stamp Act Island. The stories will certainly enlighten and entertain.
Nature Tour
Look for loons, eagles, and other natural inhabitants in and around the lake. Learn about protection efforts and circumnavigate Stamp Act Island Nature Preserve by water to see nature’s bounty.
Custom Tour
Want to spend more time on the water? Sunset and foliage tours are available on a limited basis. (Additional charges and restrictions may apply.)
